Welcome to the 2014-2015 School Year!

Hello from the Middle School Art room!  Can you believe we are already back in school?  It seems like just yesterday that I was sorting though supplies and packing up the art room for summer.  While I thoroughly enjoyed summer vacation with my three kiddos and Mr. Markwald, traveling south to visit family in Charleston and Memphis, and flying over the ocean and beyond to spend an amazing 6 days in Seoul, (check out my blog to see all about my adventures) I now feel ready to settle into the weekly routine of being an art teacher.   For the past few days I've arranged and rearranged my classroom for the arrival of a "mini-lab" in the art room: 10 Macs loaded with Adobe Photoshop just waiting for eager minds to start making digital masterpieces! New tables names are securely in place, pencils are sharpened and art supplies are ready!  Now, I just need the students! Welcome back everyone!
