MAM Scholastic Award Ceremony

Each year that I have the opportunity to attend the MAM Scholastic award ceremony, I am humbled by the talent the hangs from the walls and truly honored to be a part of the whole experience. It is such a proud moment for us art teachers to see our students gain recognition for the talent, creativity and originality that poured forth from their fingertips as they worked to create a masterpiece.  This year, four students received five awards for their works of art in printmaking, drawing and digital art. While only one student could actually make the awards ceremony this year, it was still a fantastic morning and exhilarating to see my student's work on the walls of the Milwaukee Art Museum! Congratulations to all the participating artists and art teachers!
