Welcome back!

Hello all my faithful art blog followers!  I can hardly believe that summer is over and that I am now sitting at my desk, already into the first day of school!  Where did the time go?  I think that having three children inevitably makes the summer fly by.  While I will miss our lazy summer mornings, making late breakfasts, enjoying picnics at the park and lounging in pj's all day, I am excited for school and all that the year has in store.  It's been great seeing the faces of my returning students as they bound into the art room, as well as the many new faces that have joined our USM community.  It is my hope that each student discovers more about who they are as an individual and as an artist, building confidence in their artwork, as well as an appreciation for the art making processes they encounter this year. Let the creativity begin!
