Hello to all my new and former USM art students! Welcome to the 2011-2012 school year! I hope you all had a wonderful summer break, filled with many creative and artsy adventures. I wish I could hear all about them, but unfortunately I will have to wait until October 31st when I return from my maternity leave. In the meantime, you will be in great hands with Ms. Samolyk, my long-term substitute. Ms. Samolyk recently retired from the Milwaukee Public Schools system. For the last 18 years, Ms. Samolyk taught art at Elm Creative Arts School. We are very pleased to have her in the art room for the first quarter of school.
